XP is a PPC, or Personal Pony Computer. She was named after the OS she frequently runs, though she occasionally runs 7 as well. She is owned by Shadowpaint, who uses her to run her art programs. She has a printer at the base of her skull, which is covered by her mane. Her hooves are able to burn cds simply by gently placing her hoof on the back of a blank disc. Her eyes change color depending on her health. Seeing blue eyes means that she is running properly. Red eyes mean that she needs to be cleaned and optimized. Black eyes mean that it's time to replace her heart (which is a hard drive). Her eyes also function as a projector for the main system and act as a monitor, as well as a scanner. While she can usually run on her own, she also has an AC Adapter hidden in her tail. Her ears act as speakers, and she has a very sensitive microphone hidden in her mouth.
XP was also equipped with emotions, which make examining her health easier. If her eyes are red, she'll cry out like she's in pain. When in good health, she's usually seen smiling. She can also speak, though her voice sounds like you are talking to her on a telephone. Because f her vast database, she loves helping other ponies out with their computers. She also enjoys interacting with other PPC's.
Anyway, that XP's story. I may do actual art of her later on, either on her own or interacting with ShadowPaint.
