It's apparently new to the US, but has been traveling the globe for a while before hitting us here in the states. Watch the video explaining the virus and my anti-malware recommendation after the break!

SpaceSniffer
I had meant to do this review sooner, and was hoping to have it posted before I went camping with my boyfriend. Unfortunately, we left earlier then planned so I wasn't able to post my review until now.
Anyways, in this review, I'll be going over a neat little program called SpaceSniffer. More info and a download link after the break!

XP's Cleaning Tip 1: Emptying the Prefetch
Most people know that you should do a cleaning of your PC once a week. However, there are a lot of places that should be cleaned that people don't really pay attention to, mainly because they don't know it exists. The Prefetch folder is one of those areas.
About XP. (The OC, not the OS)
I've been thinking about this ever since I created XP. I've explained my other OC Shadowpaint, but I felt that XP needed a story as well. So here ya go!

Virtual CD Rom
It finally happened, guys. I had to replace my hard drive. I admit, I knew it was inevitable, but at least I did all I could.
After installing the new hard drive, I started to do what I had planned to do on the other HDD: Create a dual-boot of XP and 7. So I got the iso file for 7 and installed XP. One problem: I don't have any blank discs.
Luckily, I found something called Virtual CD Rom. More info and a download link after the break!

EASEUS Partition Recovery
If you've owned your computer for more then 2 years, you may have had to reformat. Or maybe some freak accident happened that made your partition unreadable. Before you freak out, I suggest looking into this neat little freeware utility.

Dropbox: What It Is and Why You Need It.
If you have never heard of the amazing utility known as Dropbox, you are seriously missing out.
Dropbox is basically a storage program. Sign up is free, as is the Basic account. You can upgrade to Pro for a small fee, but you get lots more space. More info after the break!

Advanced SystemCare V6
There are no shortage of Windows utilities that promise to clean your registry, optimize your internet, and safely uninstall unwanted programs all while bringing you a latte and rubbing your back. One of my favorite programs is Advanced SystemCare from iOrbit. At the end of this review, I'll show you how to get the full version for free. (Please note that I WILL NOT tell you how to get most other software for free. I am allowing this exception because it's 100% legal.)

AOMEI Partition Assistant Home Edition
If you're like me, then you probably have several partitions on your PC. I have 2. C: is significantly larger then H:. It was the other way around, but I had to reformat recently and for some reason, the partitions swapped labels. Suddenly, H: announces every 5 minutes or so that it is critically low on space. Oddly enough, this was the partition I had just reformatted. I knew it was possible to take memory from one parition and give it to another, but I wasn't sure how.
That's when I found this little gem.

Welcome to My Little Windows Reviews!
Hello, and welcome! I'm Lisa, the host of this blog. I love working with computers and trying out new programs in an attempt to make my pc the best it can be.
In this blog, I will share my opinions on various Windows programs, as well as offer any tips and freebies I may find. Perhaps I'll add a tutorial every now and then.
Before we go any further, if you couldn't tell by the title, I'm an MLP fan. That being said, I'd like to introduce the mascot for MLWR.

How's it going? My name is XP.
If there is a program I like, I will give it my MLWR Stamp of Approval.
Anyways, if you have any questions or requests, don't hesitate to comment! Hope you enjoy this blog!
